Grids

The grid at the bottom of the Find window is where records appear once you have performed a search. 

To see all available columns on the grid click, 

Highlight the first column and click      CONTROL (AND) +

The functionality of the grid will operate differently for Find screens where you have the Grouping option turned on.  

Rather than re-sorting the records displayed beneath a particular column

Clicking on a column heading with Grouping activated will call up the Choose Groups and Totals window.

There are a few basic things you should be aware of regarding the display grid. All columns are sortable and adjustable.

  • You can move columns
    • Click on the heading and drag it to where you want it. 
  • You can increase or decrease the width of a column. 
    • Click the edge of the column heading cell and adjust the cell as desired. 
    • If you want to have a column disappear. Decrease the width entirely.
  • You can sort the result. 
    • Click on any of the column headings and the list will be sorted alphabetically by that column. 
    • Click on the same column heading a second time and the list will be sorted in reverse.
