Charge It Pro

• The Charge It Pro Flagship server DLL distributed with [i]merchant was updated to version 5.1.16.

• The automatic version check will notify the cashier if the version being used by [i]merchant is older than the version installed by Charge It Pro.

• When the CPro dll is newer, [i]merchant attempts to copy the newer version into the [i]merchant working folder. 

  • Because of restrictions imposed by the newer Windows operating systems this copy may fail. Windows does not allow files to be copied into the program files of program files (x86) folders programmatically. 

  • The updated cpro dll can be copied using Windows file explorer as an administrator. The file to copy is “C:\ChargeItPro\EIServer\cipeinet.dll”. This should be placed in folder “C:\Program Files (x86)\Computac Inc\[i]merchant”. Replace the existing version.

• POS will function normally even of this copy fails. The Charge It Pro system should also function properly. Each time POS is started, the check will be performed and the cashier reminded of the version difference. The check can be toggled on and off via Tools, Options, on the POS tab. 

To Be Returned 

• The receiving grid columns were not being saved on exit.

Customer Order Detail Find

• A pickup option was added to the toolbar. This allows allocated customer orders to be picked up from the detail finder.

Customer notifications

• The right click menu failed under some conditions.

Magazine Imports

• The Magazine PO import date fields now have a “Use Current Date” option.

• The issue setting was getting lost when calling up the Match fields list.
