Customer Order Reports
A field was added to the customer order field list called “Net Unit Price Fraction Cents”.
The net unit price is calculated by dividing the extended total of the line item by the quantity. This can result in a net unit price with fractional cents. When displayed as a regular price with two decimal places, the rounded amount may not compute back to the extended retail. Using the new field, “Net Unit Price Fraction Cents”, minimizes this confusion.
System Option
The Customer Order tab on the system option screen has a check box called “Apply Current Sale promotion when sold”.
When checked, POS will use the current sale price if it is lower than regular or promised customer order price.
Previous versions of [i]merchant did not use the sale price.
When added the option is unchecked to maintain the previous behavior of POS.
Buying Manager
A Group Edit option was added to change the TBO type and/or TBO Vendor on the selected items.
There can be multiple TBO entries for a product. The group edit windows allows the user to choose all the TBO items in the selected list of just ones with a specific Type or Vendor.
Compare Reports
Two new comparison reports have been added to the system, Cost Profit Compare and Sales Compare.
These reports are similar to the corresponding Cost Profit Report and the Product Sales Reports.
-
The comparison reports allow two date period ranges to be selected.
Each period is show as a separate line in the report.
The first line is the current period’s information and the second line represents the second period.
Product specific fields such as the product number, description, etc. will only print on the first line.
The column headings for the second period have the prefix “”P2” added to the normal header description on both the report and CSV export file.
When using the report query to select products, note that the products selected are based on the values from the first period. This only matters when selecting based on a field that is compared, such as sales.
System Options
The Coupon and Accounting integration modules are now part of the base [i]merchant system.
These modules can be enabled in system options.
