Book Scan / Media Scan automation

• A command file has been added for automating the Book Scan and Media Scan processes. This allows the processes to be run automatically via the Windows scheduler.
• imBookScanExport will run the book scan export for the designated store.
  • The reporting period is from Sunday to Saturday. This task should be run on Sunday after the Saturday end of day tasks are complete.
  • [i]merchant will select the most recent week on file.
• imMediaScanExport will run the media scan export for the designated store.
  • The reporting period is from Friday to Thursday. This task should be run on Friday.
  • [i]merchant will automatically select the previous Thursday.
• When adding these command files to the Windows scheduler, the store code to be exported must be added as a command line parameter. If the store code is not entered, [i]merchant will assume a code of “1”. It is best to explicitly assign the store code.
• If there are multiple stores, a scheduled task must be added for each store.
• The automated task will use the default settings displayed on the interactive screen. [i]merchant will use the most recent period ending date.
• A success or fail entry of the task is logged in the C:\ComputacApps\Logs \imerrors.log file of the PC running the task.
