The following line is an example of the target line for logging into the iMerchant offline database.  

Copy and paste the following line into a desktop shortcut. 

Note the quotes and spacing are important for this to work properly.

To log into the main menu :

"C:\Program Files\Computac Inc\[i]merchant\IM_MainMenu.exe" runoffline=y

To log into POS only :

"C:\Program Files\Computac Inc\[i]merchant\IMPos.exe" runoffline=y

 To create a desktop shortcut:

• Copy the sample line above
• Right click on your Desktop
• Select New > Shortcut
• Paste the copied line into the “Type the location of the item” box.
• Click Next
• Enter a name to identify the entry as a test database
• Click finish. 
• The new shortcut will appear on your desktop
