Outstanding Balances for Gift Cards
Go to: Modules > Point of Sale > Tender Accounts.
This is looking for any tender code GC (Gift Card) and with a balance greater than or equal to 1.
Additionally, this report is sorted by balance.
You can query by open date and balance >= 1 to find open balances for all tenders.
Then use the Grouping option to sort and group your records.

Modules > Point of Sale > Tender Balance History.
This is a simple search looking for any gift card opened since 10/31/2017. I have it sorting by transaction date and subtotaling by that transactions date.
